There are many national and international sources of credible and evidence-based information about diabetes education and clinical care. The ADEA has compiled a list of websites which our members may consider visiting, but we recognise that there are many other sources, including websites, of value to diabetes educators. Australasian Cochrane Centre - supports and co-ordinates Cochrane activities in the specific geographical areas of New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand.
Australian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society (ADIPS) - a professional body established to advance clinical and scientific knowledge of diabetes in pregnancy, to encourage dissemination of this knowledge and to foster collaboration with other regional societies interested in diabetes in pregnancy.

Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) - Australia's national agency for health and welfare statistics and information.
CME on diabetes - designed to assist in keeping diabetes knowledge up to date for clinicians through presentations, case studies and articles by leading diabetes specialists.
Diabetes CCRE - is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council and seeks to encourage and promote clinical research in diabetes and its complications, with the ultimate goal of improving the treatment and prevention of this disease.

International Diabetes Federation (IDF) - an umbrella organisation of over 200 national diabetes associations in over 160 countries.
Nurses Forum – a forum for nurses to post questions and exchange ideas on what works within diabetes care and what doesn't.
